Before founding ZXMOTO, Zhang Xue was already a legend in the Chinese motorcycle industry. He co-founded KOVE in 2017 and built it into one of China's leading performance motorcycle brands — achieving World Supersport 300 championship glory and multiple Dakar Rally stage wins.
In April 2024, he departed KOVE with a singular vision: to build a Chinese motorcycle brand capable of competing at the absolute highest level of international motorsport. ZXMOTO — named with his own initials — was born.
